Are Southern Pride of Texas parts OEM (original equipment manufacturer)?

Yes. Southern Pride of Texas is an authorized Southern Pride dealer and stocks genuine OEM replacement parts sourced directly from Southern Pride. We do not sell aftermarket or third-party substitutes for critical components. All parts meet the original factory specifications for your smoker model.

How long do Southern Pride smoker parts take to ship?

In-stock parts ship via UPS same day if ordered before 3PM CST Monday through Friday. Most customers receive orders within 1-5 business days depending on location. Large assemblies or parts for discontinued smoker models may ship via freight and can take 2-3 weeks to produce. Smokers ship by truck with approximately one week lead time. We ship from Orange, TX (77630).

Can I return a Southern Pride part if it is the wrong one?

We accept returns on replacement parts within 30 days of receipt, subject to a 10% restocking fee for unwanted items. Parts must be in original, unused condition with original packaging. Electrical parts (thermostats, relays, switches, heating elements) are non-returnable once installed or any installation has been attempted. New smokers are not returnable. Southern Pride SPK-1000 Gas Rotisserie Smoker — Features & Specifications

Convection Gas Heat

The SPK-1000 is a gas-fired, wood-burning rotisserie smoker built around a low-velocity convection air system. A 150,000 BTU (44KW) burner runs on natural or LP gas through a 1/2" NPT inlet and fires the wood in the firebox, while a low-velocity fan with a 10" (254mm) fan blade circulates heat and smoke evenly around the rotating racks for consistent color and yield across a full load. A front or rear flue keeps smoke and heat in the cabinet longer for deeper flavor and better heat efficiency. Natural gas supply pressure is 4.5"–10.0" W.C.; LP supply pressure is 11.0"–13.0" W.C. A spare fan blade is included.

Rotisserie Capacity & Racks

The smoker comes standard with (4) 3-tier rack hangers at 4-1/2" (114mm) spacing holding (12) 18" x 42" (457 x 1067mm) nickel-chrome plated product racks — 63 ft² (5.85 m²) of cooking surface. The rotisserie advances with a push-button on the control panel or a hands-free pneumatic foot pedal. An optional rack hanger system upgrades to (4) 4-tier hangers at 3-1/4" (83mm) spacing with (16) 18" x 42" (457 x 1067mm) racks.

Digital Control & Rotisserie

A digital thermostat is standard, holding cook temperature from 140° to 325°F (60° to 163°C). Operation is managed with an on/off switch, a rotisserie advance button, and a pneumatic rotisserie advance foot pedal for hands-free indexing. A programmable digital cook-and-hold thermostat is available as an option.

Stainless Build & Footprint

Interior and exterior are full stainless steel over a mineral-wool insulated cabinet for easy cleaning and years of heavy commercial service. The unit stands on adjustable 16-1/4" (413mm) steel pipe legs (standard leg locations 47-3/8"w x 83-3/4"d center to center / 1203 x 2127mm) and includes an interior light and a 2" (51mm) grease drain with ball valve. Exterior dimensions are 38"w x 52-1/2"d x 81-1/2"h (964 x 1334 x 2070mm). Wiring is 120V AC / 60Hz / single-phase, 15A (NEMA 5-15P plug).

Tempered glass in each product door for viewing product during the cook cycle without opening the doors, with a manual light switch on the control panel to activate the interior light.

Stainless steel product racks

VSP eyebrow ventilation hood system

Custom vent hood that attaches directly to the smoker and is ducted out of the building to capture the smoke from the smoker when the product doors are opened.

Recessed front legs

Front legs moved back 12" (305mm) from the standard leg location.

Working-height locking casters

Allows mobility for cleaning and servicing at working height.
