Yes. Southern Pride of Texas is an authorized Southern Pride dealer and stocks genuine OEM replacement parts sourced directly from Southern Pride. We do not sell aftermarket or third-party substitutes for critical components. All parts meet the original factory specifications for your smoker model.

How long do Southern Pride smoker parts take to ship?

In-stock parts ship via UPS same day if ordered before 3PM CST Monday through Friday. Most customers receive orders within 1-5 business days depending on location. Large assemblies or parts for discontinued smoker models may ship via freight and can take 2-3 weeks to produce. Smokers ship by truck with approximately one week lead time. We ship from Orange, TX (77630).

Can I return a Southern Pride part if it is the wrong one?

We accept returns on replacement parts within 30 days of receipt, subject to a 10% restocking fee for unwanted items. Parts must be in original, unused condition with original packaging. Electrical parts (thermostats, relays, switches, heating elements) are non-returnable once installed or any installation has been attempted. New smokers are not returnable. Southern Pride BBR-79-2 Gas Rotisserie Smoker — Features & Specifications

Gas Wood-Fired Heat

The BBR-79-2 is a gas-fired, wood- and charcoal-burning rotisserie smoker from the BBR series. A 75,000 BTU electronic pilot gas burner — natural or LP, with a 1/2" NPT gas line connection — lights the fire with push-button convenience and keeps it steady through the cook.

Firebox

The firebox is 10 ga. H.R. steel with a 10 ga. H.R. steel firebox door. It burns wood logs or charcoal — typically 1–2 logs, 4" in diameter and 12" long — for authentic wood-fired flavor.

Rotisserie Rack Capacity

The rotisserie carries (5) food racks — (1) 18" x 24" and (4) 12" x 42" — at 12" spacing, for 19.25 sq ft of cooking surface.

Digital Control & Air Circulation

A digital thermostat manages the pit across a 140° to 325°F range, and one convection fan circulates heat and smoke around the rotating product for even color and yield.

Construction

The inner liner is 14-gauge H.R. steel or 14-gauge stainless steel, and the exterior is 22-gauge polished stainless steel.

Dimensions & Electrical

The unit measures 73" tall x 74-1/4" wide x 41-1/8" deep including covers, standing on 19-1/4" legs; the shell itself is 44-5/8" tall x 74-1/4" wide x 33-3/4" long. Wiring is 120V AC / 60Hz / single-phase, 15A. The BBR-79-2 is UL and ULC listed.

Venting

The BBR-79-2 must be installed under a vent hood; the BBR-79-2-SSE is the smoke extractor configuration of the same pit.
