About the Southern Pride SPK-700

The Southern Pride SPK-700 is a large-capacity gas rotisserie smoker from the SPK series, produced from 1993 to 2009 and no longer manufactured. It was among the highest-output units Southern Pride built, using a rotating rack-hanger system to carry product past the burner for even smoke and consistent results across a full load — a workhorse for high-volume barbecue operations.

  • 150,000 BTU (44KW) gas burner
  • Rotisserie rack-hanger system: (6) 3-tier hangers holding up to (18) 12" x 48" (305 x 1219mm) nickel-chrome product racks at 3-1/2" (89mm) spacing
  • Programmable digital cook-and-hold control (140°–325°F)
  • Full stainless steel construction
