Convection Gas Heat

The SRG-800 gas smoker is built around a 100,000 BTU (29KW) burner running on natural or LP gas through a 1/2" NPT inlet. A convection air system circulates heat and smoke evenly around the cabinet for consistent color and yield across a full load, and a Subterthermic flue keeps smoke and heat in the cabinet longer for deeper flavor, better heat efficiency, and less wood used per cook.

Capacity & Racks

This is one of Southern Pride's highest-capacity stationary-rack smokers. It ships with (5) 26" x 56" (660 x 1422mm) product racks and accepts up to (18) racks on 18 rack slides at 1-1/2" (38mm) spacing, positioned at whatever heights your menu calls for. Typical loads run about 72 pork butts (8–10 lb), 60 baby back ribs, 96 whole chickens, or 24 beef briskets.

Programmable Digital Control

The programmable cook-and-hold control runs from 140° to 325°F (60° to 163°C), manages cook time and hold temperature, and stores up to 30 preset menus so repeat cooks come out the same every time.
