Very early models of the SPK-700 will require some slight modifcation to install the new style door closure 771001.
When changing to the new style door closure one of the mounting bracket holes will line up correctly so mount the bracket using the one hole that lines up.
You can then use the bracket to mark the locations of the other holes so you can drill and tap new mounts.
**IMPORTANT NOTE**
When you start drilling out the old holes be sure to leave the 1 screw that lines up with the new bracket in because the mounting plate on the inside of the door will fall off into the door.
