Are Southern Pride of Texas parts OEM (original equipment manufacturer)?

Yes. Southern Pride of Texas is an authorized Southern Pride dealer and stocks genuine OEM replacement parts sourced directly from Southern Pride. We do not sell aftermarket or third-party substitutes for critical components. All parts meet the original factory specifications for your smoker model.

How long do Southern Pride smoker parts take to ship?

In-stock parts ship via UPS same day if ordered before 3PM CST Monday through Friday. Most customers receive orders within 1-5 business days depending on location. Large assemblies or parts for discontinued smoker models may ship via freight and can take 2-3 weeks to produce. Smokers ship by truck with approximately one week lead time. We ship from Orange, TX (77630).

Can I return a Southern Pride part if it is the wrong one?

We accept returns on replacement parts within 30 days of receipt, subject to a 10% restocking fee for unwanted items. Parts must be in original, unused condition with original packaging. Electrical parts (thermostats, relays, switches, heating elements) are non-returnable once installed or any installation has been attempted. New smokers are not returnable. Southern Pride XLR-1000 Gas Rotisserie Smoker — Features & Specifications

Wood & Charcoal Gas Heat

The XLR-1000 is a gas-fired, wood/charcoal-burning rotisserie smoker from the Southern Pride XLR series. A 150,000 BTU gas burner with electronic pilot runs on natural or LP gas through a 1/2" NPT gas inlet and ignites the fuel in a 14" diameter, 1/4" thick hot-rolled steel pipe firebox fitted with a 1/4" thick firebox door. The firebox burns 3–4 wood logs (4–6" diameter, 12–16" long) or charcoal, while a low-velocity convection fan circulates heat and smoke evenly around the rotating racks for consistent color and yield across a full load.

Rotisserie Capacity & Racks

The smoker uses (4) hanger racks, each holding (3) 18" x 42" food racks — 12 product racks total at 4-11/16" spacing — for 63 sq ft of cooking surface. The rotating rack-hanger system carries product past the burner for even smoke exposure.

Digital Control

A digital thermostat holds cook temperature across a 140° to 325°F range for repeatable low-and-slow results throughout the cook cycle.

Stainless Build & Footprint

The inner liner is 12-gauge hot-rolled steel or optional 12-gauge stainless steel, and the exterior is 22-gauge polished stainless steel for easy cleaning and years of heavy commercial service. Including covers and standing on 15" legs, the unit measures 76"h x 69"w x 87-3/8"d overall, with a shell measuring 61"h x 55-1/4"w x 79-3/8"long. Shipping weight is 2,420 lbs. Wiring is 120V AC / 60Hz / single-phase, 15A. The XLR-1000 is UL and ULC approved.

Ventilation

The XLR-1000 is ready for a VSP eyebrow ventilation hood system or for through-the-wall, direct-vent installation using a smoke extractor damper with a 10" chimney adapter.

Through-the-wall direct-vent installation

Through-the-wall direct-vent configuration using the Southern Pride Insulation Kit.
